Josh Koontz

Josh Koontz joined our team in January 2017 as a Sales Engineer.  Josh has relocated to Indiana from Pennsylvania where he had been employed by EVAPCO, Inc.   He comes to us with a great deal of EVAPCO equipment knowledge as well as a high level of enthusiasm.   Josh began his career in the U.S. Air Force with duty stations in California, Texas, NJ and a tour in Iraq supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.  He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics.  Following his service Josh was selected to join General Electric’s exclusive Commercial Leadership program designed for future GE leaders.  Josh spent a combined 5 years in the field working as a sales engineer for General Electric’s Water and Process division and later Nalco, helping his customers operate their plants more efficiently and safely while saving them operating costs. After gaining field experience in a variety of industries including power, food & beverage, and chemical processing to name a few, Josh joined EVAPCO in Taneytown, MD.  Josh started as a Marketing Engineer in 2011 and moved through the ranks to his most recent position of Assistant Product Manager.    In 2016 Josh completed his MBA with a concentration in finance at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. 

Josh enjoys spending time with his wife Abbey and 3 children Laney, Zach and Taylor.  Most warm days you will find them out on the boat water skiing and wakeboarding.  He also enjoys golfing, hiking and shooting his bow.
