Ian Klecka

Ian graduated in 2014 from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ian was introduced to both commercial and industrial refrigeration systems in Alaska where he worked as a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels. Ian worked 4 summer seasons in Alaska to pay his way through engineering school. During his time in Alaska, Ian grew an appetite for learning new things, and a willingness to ask good questions (he was a flatlander from IL with very little maritime experience after all)!

Ian began his career in the industrial refrigeration industry by working for a valve and vessel OEM as an applications & product engineer for 4 years. Ian then spent an additional 4 years working as a sales rep with a primary focus on industrial refrigeration valves and controls. Ian joined Stanton & Associates in September of 2022 as a Sales Engineer.

Ian enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah and 3 children Vivian, Ava, and Ames.  Most warm evenings you will find Ian riding bikes with his kids. Ian also enjoys cooking with his wife, and hosting friends at their house.
